Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate ( born August 18, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a part of Strikeforce where she was a Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in UFC women's bantamweight list at the time of her entry on October 3 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington. When she was a young boy Tate would often hang out with the boys of her neighborhood at the playgrounds.

She was previously the chief of staff for the vice chairman at NASDAQ.    Career  In 2012 she joined CNN after leaving her job as anchor for PBS' Wall Street Week.
